Two and a half years ago, a parishioner wanted to close off our parking lot on Saturdays to provide a dog park. We decided to try it for four weeks, and we haven’t stopped yet. Over those two and a half years, we have served over 250 dogs and 150 humans. Our dog park provides a place for dogs to play, but more importantly, it engages us in the neighborhood and provides a unique sort of hospitality to our neighbors. Some people that found us through the dog park have even chosen to attend church or baptize their baby at St. Peter and St. Mary.

As an inclusive congregation, we also celebrate our non-canine brothers and sisters: Cats and Other Pets of St. Peter & St. Mary.
